Pool Party on July 21st

You won’t want to miss our pool party on Thursday, July 21st. It’s BYOB, but we’ll have some food & drinks, as well as local DJ Kelly Taylor spinning the tunes from 6-9pm.

The grills will also be fired up, so feel free to bring your meat of choice for some good eatin’. See you there!

St Patrick’s Day Parties in Dallas

Despite not having deeply Irish roots, Dallas is known nationwide for its St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Whether you’re new in town or just wondering where everyone is each year on this day, here are a few things to do in town during the Ides of March:

GREENVILLE AVENUE ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE – a tradition since 1979, the St Patty’s parade grows bigger & more outlandish each year. Parade-goers line Greenville Ave from SMU Blvd to Lovers Lane watching the outrageous floats & costumes. The parade starts at 11am, but people start getting there to grab a spot around 8am.

For those of you who are fans of the Dallas band The Toadies, there will be an outdoor concert hosted by the Dallas Observer in Energy Square – a parking lot on the corner of Greenville & University. Gates open at Noon. Tickets are $12. For more info, visit

GREENVILLE AVE. STREET PARTY – becoming even more popular than the parade, is the annual street party on Lower Greenville. The street is blocked off between Vanderbilt & Vickery to allow revelers to literally party in the streets. People arrive at 6 or 7 am to stake their claim on the patio seats at Stan’s and The Dubliner, but the party really gets started around 10am (and by 2pm, its usually too full to get in). There is a $5 charge to get in, so bring cash.

DASH DOWN GREENVILLE 5K – for those who want to “try” to start the day off right, there is a 5k walk/run down Greenville Ave before the parade starts. Thousands of people dressed in anything from running clothes to leprechan costumes meet at Central Market (corner of Greenville & Lovers) at 8:30am. It’s more of a party than a run, with live music, food and beverages (yes, even beer). For more information, visit

McSwiggan’s Pub (located in our sister property Austin Ranch) serves Irish breakfast every Saturday & Sunday, but they will be opening early on March 12 so that parade & party-goers can get the hearty breakfast before making their way to the festivities.

No matter what you do, the best piece of advice I can give you is leave your car at home – between the crowds and street closures, you won’t be able to park it anywhere anyway. If you live close to the DART rail, try taking the train to Mockingbird Station & walking to the festivities.

Stay safe & may the luck of the Irish be with you this St Patrick’s Day!!
